That’s a pretty fair question to ask.

If you are going to hire a professional house cleaning company, it would make sense to know what to expect as to the extent of the work your house cleaners are going to do for you. At Executive Maids we have an extensive check list of duties we will perform at your home. Here is a closer look at what you can expect as maid service from Executive Maids.

Five Main Categories

We have devised a maid service system at Executive Maids that results in time and cost effective house cleaning service. Your home is broken down into five main parts for us. House Cleanings include the kitchen, bathrooms, living areas, hallways and stairs and the front/rear entrances.

Kitchen

Without a doubt the kitchen is the busiest room in your home. Not only do you cook and prepare meals in your kitchen but you may even entertain in it. The fact that it is a source of food makes the kitchen a high traffic area regardless of how your home is laid out. When we house clean kitchens we really clean kitchens. This is our basic checklist for cleaning kitchens:

  • Clean kitchen counters
  • Clean stove tops
  • Clean microwave oven
  • All cabinet and appliance surfaces cleaned
  • Polish furniture
  • Dust baseboards, pictures, lampshades, knick-knacks, windowsills, furniture, light fixtures, shelves and other décor
  • Garbage removal and clean trash can
  • Clean window over kitchen sink
  • Vacuum and mop or vacuum floors
  • Clean back door inside/out

Bathrooms

Arguably the second busiest room in your home is the bathroom. If you have a large family and more than one bathroom, they still get a lot of action first thing in the morning as everyone gets ready for work or school. Bathrooms see activity throughout the day as well. Here is the Executive Maids bathroom basic cleaning checklist:

  • Clean, scrub and disinfect showers including tile grout, sinks, bathtubs, counters
  • Clean outside of all bathroom cabinets/vanities

  • Toilets cleaned inside/outside
  • Garbage removal and clean trash cans
  • Vacuum and mop floors and/or vacuum carpets and area rugs – comb fringe

Living Areas

The bedrooms, dining room, living room, family room, home office, sun porch are the living areas. This is the basic checklist we use at Executive Maids for cleaning of the living areas:
